To maintain The Forum's diverse appeal and relevance in people's lives, The Forum Trust works with partners to carry out research and to support change and innovation.
Research and innovation projects have a particular emphasis on the areas supported by The Forum's Project Purpose. That is, culture and recreation, new technology, history and heritage, economic growth, education and life-long learning, and climate change.
The Trust's staff undertakes consultancy work for a range of clients including Creative Partnerships, HEART (Norwich Heritage, Economic and Regeneration Trust) and the Department for Skills and Education. The Trust also works with European partners to establish heritage and digital technology related projects.
Over the past ten years, The Forum Trust has proactively led and partnered in over 30 research and development projects with a total value of nearly £3 million.
