BAFTA Young Game Designers (YGD) is a free initiative and competition that inspires young people to create, develop and present their new game ideas to the world. The UK games industry is an exciting and thriving place to work, and there are a whole variety of roles available. The YGD competition runs from January to April each year, and culminates in an awards ceremony in July.
As part of Norwich Gaming Festival Learning Week, High Schools and Sixth Forms/Colleges can host the BAFTA YGD team. Whether your students love to code, draw or write stories, BAFTA YGD can give an insight into the world of game-making and a chance to meet game developers working in the UK industry.
The BAFTA YGD sessions take place at your school.
