NORWICH UNIVERSITY OF THE ARTS (NUA) TALKS:
> CONCEPT ART AND THE DESIGN PROCESS
> PROCESS OF CREATING REAL-TIME GAME ASSETS
The games industry is a fascinating and inspiring place to work, which is constantly evolving and being driven forward by new technologies, markets and user experiences. Games are more diverse than ever. Hear two fascinating talks on this growth industry from NUA lecturers.
UNIVERSITY OF EAST ANGLIA (UEA) WORKSHOP:
> IS THERE A PERFECT LET'S PLAYER?
Let’s Plays, and the Let’s Players who create them, are a key part of gaming content on YouTube and other video and streaming platforms. Popular personalities, video series and interactive streams provide entertainment for millions of viewers – but what is it that makes certain Let’s Players so successful?
In this workshop students will have the chance to break down and analyse the techniques used by top channels, investigating how they create impact, excitement and humour in their videos, as we try to decide whether there is a formula for ‘the perfect Let’s Player’.

Teachers - join us for an informal evening to find out what more about a Raspberry Jam prior to Norwich Gaming Festival 2017.
At this Taste of Jam evening meet the coders and makers who contribute to Raspberry Jams, get your hands on the tech and your minds on making.
NOTE: no actual jam will be consumed during this evening. But a glass of wine or a bottle of beer will be!
