BAFTA YOUNG GAME DESIGNERS GAME CONCEPT WORKSHOP
Storyteller? Coder? Artist? BAFTA Young Game Designers (YGD) gives students an insight into the world of game making, as well as the chance to win once-in-a-lifetime experiences with top game makers through their annual competition. The BAFTA YGD Game Concept workshop aims to help students find an initial game idea and provides tips on how to develop it further.
Laboratory Media Education
Students will get coding, making games controllers and creating music with Laboratory Media Education.

Students can get their hands on loads of gaming content in the Get Gaming Gallery from retro arcade consoles to brand new games. They can see the progression of the games in the History of Gaming exhibition and find out more about the industry from Norwich University of the Arts, the University of East Anglia and Access to Music.
PROBLEMS FOR PROGRAMMERS
Tommy Thompson from Table Flip Games discusses his progression from gaming coder wannabe, to Computer Science undergraduate and Doctoral student in Artificial Intelligence. Hear about his experiences working as a professional software developer, computer science lecturer and video game programmer.
