    Join historians Neil Storey and Dr Paul Knight to commemorate the centenary of the Second Battle of Gaza, 19 April 1917. Learn more about the Norfolk Regiment’s involvement in the Battle of Gaza and the wider campaigns against the Ottoman Empire during the First World War. You can also view the 'Finding the Fallen: Battle of Gaza' exhibition before the talks begin.

    Neil Storey is the Project Historian for The Forum’s ‘Norfolk in the First World War: Somme to Armistice’ project, which has received funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund. He is a historian, lecturer and author of over thirty books on social and military history.

    Dr Paul Knight is a Major in the Army Reserve and is the Army's First World War project officer for the North West of England. He served two tours in Iraq and is the author of The British Army in Mesopotamia, 1914-1918.
