Woman’s Hour Craft Prize Exhibition
Mon 12 Mar - Sat 7 Apr | 10am - 4pm | Free | Gallery
The Forum is hosting the Woman’s Hour Craft Prize Exhibition throughout Makers Month, the first venue to receive the exhibition following its run at the V&A in London. This unique exhibition, featuring the work of twelve makers from across the UK, is free to enter in The Forum’s Gallery.
The work of the Craft Prize finalists, and winner Phoebe Cummings, includes unfired clay installations, huge handwoven willow structures, darned high street hoodies, bespoke bicycles, futuristic glass figures, and jewellery made with 18th-century pins found in the mud of the river Thames.
