The Forum has been designed and operates with accessibility in mind for all.
Specific features of accessibility include:
A ramp for easy access runs along Bethel Street at the side of The Forum. A lift operates from the car park to all Levels +1 and -3 of The Forum. Separate lifts operate to and from the Millennium Library, The Gallery, BBC Voices and The Auditorium.
Parking spaces for holders of disabled badges can be found on Level -2 in The Forum car park.
The Forum toilets are on the ground floor of the building between The Gallery and the Millennium Library. There are also toilets for disabled visitors.
Partially Sighted and/or Hard of Hearing
Guide and assistance dogs are welcome inside The Forum.
The Millennium Library and Norwich Tourist Information Centre have specific equipment to cater for partially sighted people or can provide documents in large print.
The Millennium Library offers large print books in fiction and non-fiction as well as a range of audio books and other reading aids.
Parent with toddler access
A ramp for easy access with pushchairs runs along the Bethel Street side of The Forum building.
A lift operates from the car park to all Levels +1 and -3 of The Forum. There are separate lifts in the Millennium Library.
Parent with toddler parking spaces can be found on Level -1 of The Forum car park.
Toilets with change facilities
The Forum toilets are on the ground floor where baby change facilities are provided. Similar facilities can be found in the Children's Library.
Changing Places facility
The nearest Changing Places facility is located near the Dining Terrace at Intu Chapelfield shopping centre, a 10 minute walk from The Forum.
Other special facilities
Café Bar Marzano and PizzaExpress provide high chairs.
The Millennium Library features an excellent Children's Library and runs a programme of story-telling events.
