Heritage Open Days is England's largest festival of history and culture, bringing together over 2,000 organisations, 5,000 events and 40,000 volunteers. Here in Norfolk and Norwich places throw open their doors to celebrate Norfolk's heritage, community and history. It’s your chance to see hidden places and try out new experiences – and it’s all FREE.
The Forum Trust coordinates and promotes Heritage Open Days in Norfolk and this is the place where you can find out how to book tickets, download our festival brochure, keep up to date with news and find out how to get involved!
HODs will run from 13 – 22 September in this special 25th anniversary year. The festival period is designed to offer flexibility when running events, which can be over as many or as few days as you like.
