    The Enchanted Wood
Trolls, unicorns, wizards and fairies are just some of the fantasy characters lurking in The Enchanted Wood, another amazing creation by knitting and crochet enthusiasts from across Norfolk. Last year The Butterfly Garden, created by the same group, attracted thousands of visitors to The Forum and raised many thousands of pounds for the Louise Hamilton Trust

    Nations of the World
More than two thousand individually and exquisitely embroidered postcards, created by members of the Embroiderers' Guild from across the UK, are on display on the balcony above The Forum's main Atrium. The work was completed by members of the Embroiders' Guild, for the 2012 Olympics. You can meet local guild members of the Embroiderers' Guild from Tue 3 to Sat 7 Apr, when they will be offering demonstrations, creative advice and free activities for all abilities.

    Nostalgia by Petal and Purl
Her Majesty the Queen takes centre stage at Makers' Month 2018, depicted on her Coronation Day in 1953, courtesy of the Petal and Purl knitters and crocheters. Members of the Petal and Purl team will be at Makers' Month from 19 - 25 March. Join them to have a go at making flowers, bunting and food from knitted squares.

Nudinits is a stop-motion animation that is hand-knitted, bare-bottomed and utterly British. Nudinits live in the village of Woolly Bush and each animation is shot through with innuendo comedy, in the best tradition of Carry On films or saucy seaside postcards. Enjoy the films and book into a talk and presentation by their creator, Sarah Simi, on Sat 24 March.

    The Norfolk Quilt
Textile artist, Aviva Leigh, created a quilted map of Norfolk at Makers' Month 2017, with the help of volunteers and members of the public. The finished item is on show. Can you spot the bit you did? Aviva is an advocate of 'slow stitching' and works with locally grown dyes, such as madder.

    Giant Mandala
Mandalas are symbols representing the universe and spirituality and are very popular patterns with crochet fans. This giant crochet mandala, which is more than 4m in diameter, took Hester Thorp a year to make. It was on show at Yarndale, in Yorkshire, in 2017. Get inspired to create a mandala for a big display at Makers' Month 2019!

A History of Wool in Norwich
The wool and cloth trade made Norwich a wealthy centre of textile manufacture and commerce for hundreds of years. This heritage can be seen in so many of the grand churches and buildings in the city. Explore the history of wool in Norwich in an exhibiton by ERM CIC (a local creative community interest company), the Costume and Textile Association, with assistance from pupils at Magdalen Gates School, Norwich.

    Saori Banners
Did you have a go at Saori weaving at Makers' Month 2016 or 2017? Your work is on show this year. See if you can spot the bit you did!
