    Makers' Month Workshops 2018

    March 28

    Urban Sketchers Workshop

    Wed 28 Mar | 10am - 11am or 11.30am - 12.30pm | The Forum's Atrium

£12 per person | Minimum age 14 years (under 16s must be accompanied by a participating adult)

Learn the basics of sketching from Norwich based artist, Julie Bolus, a member of the Urban Sketchers community.

This one hour workshop introduces you to techniques that will help you use sketching to explore the world around you. Experiment with a variety of wet and dry media - such as watercolour, pen and ink - and learn simply drawing exercises that will bring life and energy to your work.

The Urban Sketchers are part of a worldwide community of artists that draw on location, indoors or out, capturing what we see from direct observation. Norwich has an urban sketchers group that meet monthly. It's free to join and beginners are welcome.
