Whether you're looking for a tasty hot chocolate, a ride on the traditional carousel or to admire some handmade gifts, we've got what you need to feel festive.

Explore glorious craft markets, browsing for unique gifts for your loved ones, or to treat yourself, all while supporting local artists and makers. Enjoy delicious seasonal food, from mulled wine to your favourite festive chutneys and sweet treats!

For those super organised folk who like to get started on the Christmas prep early there is Native2Norfolk, the produce market celebrating all things local with the finest food, drink and gifts the county has to offer! On Saturday 14 October you'll find a 'culinary extravaganza' at The Forum. Join a community of food lovers, support local businesses, and celebrate Norfolk's vibrant culinary spirit. Let innovation meet tradition, and go on a taste adventure!

You know it's time to start thinking about Christmas when Cards for Good Causes pops up in The Gallery. From Thursday 19 October you can stock up on cards, as well as all the Christmas essentials, including 2023 calendars, Advent calendars, wrapping paper, stationery items and much more. Support amazing charities by getting your cards here!

We're popping this one near the top because you'll need to be quick to join in all the Christmas Rock-n-Roll at Carols with the King on Sunday 3 December, as this annual even books up fast! Have an experience at The Forum like never before in this private evening event with music legends "Elvis" and the Blue Sueders, Olly Day and Dale Bullimore. Tickets are £22.50 for this spectacular show of music and celebration!

Our furry friends don't have to miss out on all the festive fun! Why not bring your beloved pet pooch to meet Santa Woof Woof in his special grotto, outside The Forum on Sunday 10 December. You'll have the best time posing for a festive family ‘pawtrait’ and help raise money for the local RSPCA. Enjoy this very silly festive Forum tradition, this year with live music. Canine costumes are encouraged!

Possibly the biggest event at The Forum during the season is the Festive Fair from Thursday 23 - Sunday 26 November - packed full of stall holders bringing a huge range of gifts and products to delight all. The atmosphere is made by enjoying a glass of warming mulled wine or gin while listening to festive tunes from Norfolk’s own Pavilion Brass Quintet and local singers, as well as dance performances on the Saturday morning. Find all sorts of yummy food and drink stands outside over the weekend, from hot waffles and gourmet doughnuts to delicious Norfolk Rum. There’ll even be festive treats for your dogs! Not forgetting, the chance to see the adorable miniature donkeys from Mini Donks - whose animals help people with wellbeing, and a new addition for this year with Evie’s Owls swooping in too. We can't wait to see have our giant Christmas tree, kindly donated and decorated by Taverham Nursery Centre, up in the Atrium again this year. We'll be making a song and dance out of it all and celebrating the official switch on with Norwich Community Choir, and panto characters from A Pinocchio Adventure, this season’s play at The Garage on Friday 1 December. The tree will be surrounded by the Global Village Christmas Market with glorious, unique gifts from around the world from Thursday 30 November - Saturday 2 December. Enjoy festive live music, including Caribbean steel drums, and delicious global hot food outside on the Saturday.

The traditional carousel is back! From Friday 15 December - Monday 1 January you can treat yourself to a magical ride on a traditional Victorian carousel. The presence of the 'Pride of the South' Gallopers carousel makes for stunning views, especially when enjoying a meal in Pizza Express or drink in Café Bar Marzano.
