Norfolk and Norwich Millennium Library – Temporary Closure

Norfolk County Council will be carrying out a major improvement project to the library, to make it even more accessible to visitors. This means the library, will be closed from 27 April until mid-July, but the rest of The Forum will be open. The library team will be providing some services during the closure.

Norfolk Heritage Centre is on the second floor of the Norfolk and Norwich Millennium Library.

The Norfolk Heritage Centre holds the most comprehensive collection of published material telling the story of Norfolk and its people. These include millions of books, maps, newspapers and photographs with nearly all their collections searchable on the libraries catalogue.

The Centre holds regular events including family history courses, research workshops and family activities. They also offer free visits for school groups which can support many areas of the history curriculum.
