The Auditorium is purpose-built with tiered theatre seating and a private lobby area.

The Auditorium is equipped with state-of-the-art audio visual equipment and is fully accessible. It is ideal for:

  • Presentations

  • Conferences and AGMs

  • Training

  • Talks

  • Networking

  • Small performances

The Auditorium seats 120, with tiered seating that provides excellent sightlines. It is equipped with comfortable seats that include generous legroom. It is an intimate auditorium space, allowing speakers to interact with the audience, with a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.

The tech set-up includes a plug-and-play projector, several pre-defined lighting settings, a simple PA system, and a hearing loop. There are also two screens facing towards the speakers, so they can see the presentation details, if using. There is free WiFi available for hirers, and for audience members.

The Auditorium is accessible by lift, or by stairs, and is a private space within The Forum, making it perfect for conferences, talks, film-screenings, and other pre-book events.

The Auditorium includes a lobby area providing room for refreshments and networking, perfect for up to 70 people. If you wish to have a larger breakout area, then you can book The Gallery in conjunction. Our Venue Hire team can help you arrange catering and teas and coffees. The lobby includes dedicated plasma screens which can be programmed with your own branded content.

There are toilets, including an accessible toilet, directly outside The Auditorium.

Included within the booking is a member of staff, who is available to support in the smooth running of the event. If you have additional staffing needs, this can be discussed with the Venue Hire team.

For large events, The Auditorium and The Gallery can be booked together to create a perfect conference venue.

The Forum is also home to an underground car park on site, coffee shop Cafe Bar Marzano's, and Pizza Express.

We have been using The Forum as the main hub of Norwich Film Festival activity for four years and couldn't imagine not ever using this space.
