The perfect setting for public events, markets and fairs.

Located in one of Norwich’s busiest pedestrianised areas our outside spaces are ideal for public events. The Forum’s outside spaces can be booked individually or all together, throughout the year. You are also welcome to book our outside spaces alongside our main Atrium.

The Amphitheatre on Millennium Plain is used for large-scale extravaganzas, such as the Norfolk and Norwich Festival’s opening night, through to smaller events such charity promotions and markets.  

Upper Millennium Plain is the undercover space immediately in front of The Forum entrance ideal for smaller outdoor stands and performances.   

The area between The Forum and Theatre Street, called Theatre Plain, is excellent for markets, fairs, and small performances. Theatre Plain is a high traffic area, with footfall from Theatre St and Chantry Place.

Our outside spaces are ideal for:

  • Food and craft fairs and markets

  • Community celebrations 

  • Outdoor performances

  • Charity promotions  

  • Roadshows   

  • Awareness events

Our outdoor spaces are accessible, include access to power, and have the spectacular Forum building as a backdrop. Public toilets are available in the building, as well as free water refills, and Cafe Bar Marzano. Our central location benefits from high footfall and easy transport links, and there is an underground car par on site.

Our Venue Hire Team would be happy to discuss options for your event, including floorplans, layouts, and custom events; from abseils to markets to firewalks.
