That was Norfolk Deaf Festival 2026!
A celebration of equality, empowerment, education and inclusion. It promotes deaf awareness and accessible communication through sign language and technology, showcases inspiring deaf role models, offering skill-building and volunteering opportunities, and helping professionals better support the D/deaf community.
In spite of the roasting temperatures, you came and performed, tried new things, met new people and reunited with old friends, gave us insights into cutting edge research, shared your skills in workshops, raved, laughed, shared your views on what more should be done nationally to provide services and so much more.
