A traditional Victorian carousel to entertain visitors to Norwich and provide festive fun over the Christmas holidays.
Built by Frederick Savage of Kings Lynn in 1893, the No.2 Gallopers/Carousel is one of the oldest still operating in the U.K. Attending Fairs & other events around London & southern England, the ride soon became known as "The Pride of the South" due to the particularly elaborate carvings & distinctive shape of the ride. The ride is also very well known for its appearances in feature films, the most notable being 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang', 'Half a Sixpence' & 'Who framed Roger Rabbit'.

Standing at 50ft high, the Big Wheel was imported from Eli Bridge of America in 1935. It operated at Butlins holiday camp at Bognor Regis until 1970, and now tours the length and breadth of the county!
