People living in Norfolk and Suffolk are being invited to have their say on local mental health services.

Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust (NSFT) is holding its Annual General Meeting at The Forum, in Norwich, on Thursday 9 October 2025. The meeting itself will be held in The Gallery at 2pm, however, NSFT will be showcasing its work all day, in the Atrium, between 10.30am and 4pm.

A marketplace of up to 20 stalls will provide information and insight into key programmes of work for the Trust as it continues its journey to improve health, improve care, improve culture, and improve value. There will also be an opportunity to find out what the Trust is doing to support those with learning disabilities, ADHD, and dementia.

A highlight of the day will be the official launch of NSFT’s new Carers Charter. The charter, which has been finalised following feedback from the public, outlines how the Trust will support and recognise carers, ensure they know what help is available to them, and are treated fairly.

Those attending the event will be treated to performances across the day from members of The Black Dog Music Project, which aims to help build confidence and improve mental health through music. There will also be performances from NSFT’s Activities Co-ordinator, Mark Rushmere, and volunteer pianist, Heather Edwards, to highlight the powerful role music can play in dementia care.

The AGM is an opportunity to hear Chair Zoë Billingham, Chief Executive Officer Caroline Donovan, and the Trust’s Executive Team, talk about the improvements NSFT has made, along with its priorities.

Please note that registration is only required if you intend on joining the AGM. Registration is not required to visit the marketplace in The Atrium.
