Join Fran Young for this talk to hear about the beginnings of the Norfolk Archaeological Trust, which celebrated its centenary in 2023.

Wealthy philanthropists who had concerns about Norwich's historic buildings collectively set out on a path to ensure that not everything in Norwich was lost to slum clearance. How did we go from saving property in slum clearance to collecting a portfolio of 10 historic sites across Norfolk in 100 years and what does the next 100 years look like.

Fran will share her personal experience of being employed by NAT as a non-historian and some of the challenges that we face going forward.
