Norfolk County Music Festival was founded in 1925 to encourage and support amateur music making, singing and teaching, throughout the county and beyond. The Festival is non-competitive and adjudicators look for “Things to Celebrate” and "Things to Think About”.
As part of their centenary celebration, two events will be taking place outside The Forum.
Saturday 15 March - 3pm Mass Sing
Following performances by 15 adult choirs at St Peter Mancroft with Vetta Wise, the renowned singing teacher and choral expert, the event will culminate in a mass sing outside The Forum at 3pm. There will also be a performance of a specially written brass fanfare in celebration of the Festival's centenary.
Friday 21 March - 2pm School Choirs
Several School Choirs will assemble outside The Forum at 2pm to take part in a short singing workshop led by much-loved choir leader Lin Marsh.
