Norwich Book Festival returns 24-31 October 2025 with a celebration of stories for all kinds of readers!

We’re so excited to be back in October half-term for an expanded 8 days, bringing you over 50 brilliantly bookish talks, workshops, signings and interactive experiences across Norwich, City of Stories. Norwich Book Festival is a celebration of stories of all types, for readers of all types.

What's on

Discover award-winning writers, gripping storytelling, illuminating explorations of history and feats of imagination.

Head to The Imaginarium at The Forum Sun 26 - Tue 28 October, 10am-4pm for an amazing celebration of creativity, stories, and imagination, free for everyone to enjoy!

The Imaginarium is packed full of free activities for everyone to have a go at, no matter what age, with special family-friendly activities on the Monday and Tuesday. Visitors will get the chance to try something new, discover more about the world of books, and explore new stories. With more than 25 different stalls throughout The Imaginarium, as well as our own Festival Bookshop, there’s plenty for everyone to explore.

There’s no need to book – just drop by to have a go at something new!

The Imaginarium is supported by The Hays Travel Foundation, the Norfolk Community Foundation through the Goodman Trust and First Bus East.

Norwich Book Festival has been created by The Forum with key partners National Centre for Writing, Norfolk Libraries and University of East Anglia as well as booksellers including Waterstones, independents The Book Hive and Bookbugs & Dragon Tales, and with the support of Norwich School and Norwich BID amongst others.
