Find out why adolescent boys get drawn to the Manosphere and how we, as parents and professionals, can help them understand and challenge it

Menscraft, a Norwich-based men’s health and wellbeing charity, is hosting this in-person event about the Manosphere, its history, risk factors - and how we can support boys to understand and challenge what they encounter online.

Louis Theroux's recent documentary opened many of our eyes to the attitudes and behaviours expressed within the Manosphere. This talk, led by Cody Sollows - a practitioner working directly boys and young men - explores how online narratives about masculinity are shaping teenage boys, and, importantly, what practical steps adults can take to help them understand and challenge these influences.

This public event is aimed at parents and professionals working with adolescents and families. It will include a talk followed by audience Q&A. Please note that some video content will reference views that some may find challenging.

About the speaker

Cody Sollows is Youth Programme Manager at MensCraft. He has a BSc in Psychology and extensive experience of working with young men and boys, including within the Canadian youth justice system.
