NSF25 eventsThe Norwich Games Festival returns for 6 days during the May half term in 2025, celebrating video and computer games, tabletop and board games and physical gaming and activities at The Forum and local venues. There’ll be plenty for families to enjoy, as well as events for expert gamers, future creators, and competitive players!
Heritage Open Days is England’s largest festival of history and culture and in Norfolk hundreds of participating venues, organisations, private homes and gardens throw open their doors for FREE to reveal and celebrate the very best of the county’s rich history and heritage.
80 years after the end of World War II, a new project comes to Norfolk exploring the history of our local community, and the influence of the United States Army Air Forces during the war. Silver Wings: The US Army Air Forces in WWII Norfolk will culminate in an exhibition and series of talks at The Forum, Fri 12 - Sun 21 September 2025 as part of Norfolk Heritage Open Days. The project will be supported by a programme of community participation, including free workshops and school outreach in Spring 2025.
Silver Wings is presented by The Forum in partnership with the American Library, Memorial to the 2nd Air Division, 8th Air Force, United States Army Air Forces (American Library). As well as support from the Heritage Fund, Silver Wings has been supported by The Paul Bassham Charitable Trust and The Second Air Division Memorial Trust.
Norwich Book Festival is for every kind of reader, and brings nationally renowned authors to England's first UNESCO City of Literature for fantastic events, readings, signings, interactive experiences and much more. The Festival highlights Norwich’s literary heritage, and contribute to the city's thriving culture of reading and writing.
