In a modern-day mash up of dance, music and performance, High Voltage brings together over 10 guitarists from across the region in a showcase o musical talent that really makers you want to rock-out!

March Static - Speak Percussion & All the Queen's Men

Friday 9 May, 6pm

Speak Percussion, All the Queen’s Men and local musicians herald the opening of the Festival with a composition by Thomas Meadowcroft. With bespoke choreography they create an immersive sonic experience that re-imagines the concept of a marching band – celebrating community and peace over military might.

Artizani - Hydropunk

Pop in to see taps, valves, pipes, pumps, sprays, and leaks come together to form a chaotic, yet playful water machine, created in collaboration with the public.

Sadiq Ali Company - Tell Me

Chinese pole acrobatics, physical theatre and music are used in a captivating contemporary circus dance show that reimagines the narrative around HIV in today’s world.

All the way from Quebec, Jerry Tremblay presents an absurd, theatrical circus show which keeps his audience on the fragile edge!
