Learn how to create a zine. Step by step!

Try your hand at zine making with local artist Evan Thomas. Creator of Blood, Sweat & Flak! - a mini-comic about the US Army Air Force in WWII - Evan will lead a workshop-style session where you'll plan and begin creating your very own zine.

All materials provided. Snacks and drinks are provided during the workshop. There will also be a 30 minute lunchbreak.

From jitterbug dancing and donuts to first-hand accounts of service and sacrifice, Silver Wings celebrates the memories that shaped Norfolk during WWII, and the legacy that still echoes today.
