For the first time, Norfolk Makers Festival will be featured in two other iconic Norwich landmarks, bringing two beautiful exhibitions to the East of England for the first time.
The Dementia Darnings will be exhibited at Norwich Cathedral from Thursday 9 March - Saturday 1 April and is made up of a series of intensely moving stitched portraits of the artist's mother.
At St Peter Mancroft Church, the Grenfell Memorial Quilt Exhibition is an ongoing collaborative project designed to honour those who died in the tragedy, from Thursday 9 - Thursday 30 March.
At The Forum, there are multiple fantastic exhibitions, including Bold Perspectives; a juried exhibition of textile art by local creatives, Dangerous Pockets, Nudinits and much more!
Free, drop in activities
From Mindful Painting to making your own wooden toy, The Forum will be full of free crafty activities and demonstrations with something new to see and do every day of the Festival. Don't be shy, and try your hand at something new - or chat to the artist and be fascinated learning about their crafting process. Drop by on any of the Festival days between 10am-4pm and celebrate creativity with us.
