The Forum is managed by The Forum Trust, an independent,self-financing educational charity. The Forum Trust creates a year-round programme of free events for all to enjoy.
A cultural icon in the city, a unique space that is ours
The Forum welcomes 2 million visitors a year, yet our projects go far beyond the building. Our projects with local communities spans arts, culture, education, technology, heritage and creativity.
The Forum Trust organised and runs a series of festivals throughout the year:
Norwich Science Festival
Norfolk Makers Festival
Heritage Open Days
Norwich Games Festival
The Forum Trust also supports Run Norwich, The Norfolk & Norwich Festival and Norfolk Disability Pride.
Our festivals are safe, welcoming and accessible so the whole community can enjoy. Our aim is to spark curiosity, the sharing of common interests, and inspire action.
These festivals and events, and the upkeep of the building, are made possible by our commercial activities. This includes income from The Forum car park, venue hire and renting space to our tenant organisations.
The award-winning Norwich Science Festival is a celebration of all things science – inspirational exhibitions, sensational shows and an abundance of hands-on science activities for all ages and all levels of knowledge.
