Our festivals

Our Free, annual festivals have something for everyone

The Forum is managed by The Forum Trust, an independent,self-financing educational charity. The Forum Trust creates a year-round programme of free events for all to enjoy.

A cultural icon in the city, a unique space that is ours

Feedback from a visitor reflecting on what The Forum means to them

The Forum welcomes 2 million visitors a year, yet our projects go far beyond the building. Our projects with local communities spans arts, culture, education, technology, heritage and creativity.

Our festivals

The Forum Trust organised and runs a series of festivals throughout the year:

  • Norwich Science Festival

  • Norfolk Makers Festival

  • Heritage Open Days

  • Norwich Games Festival

The Forum Trust also supports Run Norwich, The Norfolk & Norwich Festival and Norfolk Disability Pride.
Our festivals are safe, welcoming and accessible so the whole community can enjoy. Our aim is to spark curiosity, the sharing of common interests, and inspire action.

These festivals and events, and the upkeep of the building, are made possible by our commercial activities. This includes income from The Forum car park, venue hire and renting space to our tenant organisations.

Limitless opportunities and partnerships

The Forum’s flexible spaces allows us to work with cultural partners and community groups. We can use our spaces to deliver and promote work to benefit the whole community.

By working together we can help deliver extraordinary projects, which weren't previously possible.

Organisations from across the region host events inside and outside the building. This includes markets, fairs and exhibitions to community celebrations, charity events and live performances.
