Live, interactive poetry experience for kids and families!

TOASTies is the live, interactive poetry experience for kids and families! Brought to you by TOAST, the best poetry producers in the business, we bring the coolest, craziest kid’s poets to Norwich for an afternoon of fun, games and rule-breaking.

This May half term we are putting on a game show like no other. From Minecraft to Monopoly, Fortnite to Frogger, we’ll be putting the poetry into playing games. You can get up and be a contestant or sit back and watch the fun and games. It’s poetry but not as you know it!

We’ll also be joined by children’s poet and author A.F Harold. A.F. Harrold is an English poet and author who writes and performs for adults and children. Some of the things he makes (books, poems, faces) are funny, some are strange, some are sad, and many of them involve the privilege of working with amazing illustrators. He often visits schools, reading poems and running workshops and juggling ideas. He is the owner of many books, a handful of hats, a few good ideas and one beard. He lives in Reading with a stand-up comedian and two cats.

TOASTies is aimed at 5-11 year olds but is suitable for younger or older siblings as well. We always want to make an experience rather than just a regular show, so audiences are encouraged to get involved as much or as little as they choose.
